For kits you have to wait a while to become a apprentice depending on how old you make them. i will notify you when its time for your kit to be come apprenticed. same for app. into warriors(you can choose your own warrior name if you like)

Zephyrlight can mentor fawnpaw, and featherstar can have Applepaw as long as its ok with you guys.

Sure, Zephyrlight can be deputy, but he will have to retire from deputy back to warrior or elder when spotkit is ready. I will start a rp thread soon also.

Featherstar:

Featherstar woke up from a great dream in Starclan, chasing mice and stretched the sleep from her limbs. she then padded outside and looked at her clan still sleeping. she looked at the nursery. there was many kits lately, and two of them were ready to be apprentices. 'Fawnkit and Applekit will be so excited to become an apprentice. i can see them already, full of happiness when i tell them' She thought happily.

More info on the flightclan area

The training hollow is half in the mountains and half in the plains so they can practice both fighting and stalking teqniques for each place.

There is a small pool of water that steams down from camp to the plains river. The pool of water in camp is for everyone but mostly used by the elders, queens, and medicine cats.

(yes, Dapplefur fostered Applekit and Fawnkit)

Spotkit:

Spotkit heard Applekit walking out of the nursery, which woke her up. she stretched and saw everyone else still sleeping. 'i bet Dapplefur won't mind if i go outside for a little.....' thought Spotkit as she went outside. 'i wonder what featherstar is doing so early in the morning?' she sat near the nursery and saw zephyrlight walking out of the warriors den.

Spotkit:

"Good morning Zephyrlight!" Spotkit replied, "there really is no one awake, though Featherstar is." Spotkit pointed at Featherstar with her nose. "hey, she's looking right at you Zephyrlight!"

Featherstar:

Featherstar noticed Applekit, followed shortly after. Then Zephyrlight and Hawkfeather coming out of the warriors den. Zephyrlight seemed more than happy this morning, and Hawkfeather just looked plain cross.
'must have been woken up again by Zephyrlight, that sleepyhead.' thought Featherstar. 'i need to find some mentors for Applekit and Fawnkit......Well, Zephyrlight seems like the right choice for Fawnkit, but what about Applekit?' She watched Zephyrlight pad up to the two kits, engaging in a friendly conversation. Featherstar pricked her ears up when she noticed that Spotkit was gesturing towards her.

Dapplefur:

Dapplefur woke up to the soft breathing of sleeping kits. she looked around and saw Yellowkit, Patchkit, BlackKit, and Fawnkit asleep against her. 'Applekit must already be outside looking for Zephyrlight. even though Fawnkit and Applekit were not from her litter, she still loved them as much as her own kits. purring, Dapplefur fell back asleep.

Featherstar:

Featherstar saw Zephyrlight dip his head as a formal good morning. when she heard Applekit's meow, she turned towards her. "Good morning Applekit!" Featherstar said, "I'm surprised to see you up so early!" she looked back at Zephyrlight and gestured with her head to follow, and went inside her den. she sat down i the middle and waited for him to come in. 'hm, Fawnkit still needs a mentor.... normaly she would have gotten Dapplefur since she technically isn't her kit, but she's nursing.' thought Featherstar 'Hawkfeather really wants an apprentice, but two inexperienced warriors is not the best idea. well, i can always take Fawnkit, though it will mean more grief from her when i have to go back to starclan.'

Soot:

Soot woke up in his nest of leaves and bits of moss he found and saw the sun just rising up. 'must be early morning, bet the clan is up and about already.' Soot thought. His belly growled in hunger. 'might as well go hunting.' even though his housefolk left him, he learned how to hunt from Dapplefur before...... at least his red collar didn't have a bell, just a silly tag.

Featherstar:

As you may know, Applekit and fawnkit are ready to be apprenticed. you will be given fawnkit. I will take applekit. Featherstar told Zephyrlight

Spotkit:

"You guys are so lucky, i have to wait moons for mine!" Spotkit said

Featherstar:

"Hawkfeather's skills are needed elsewhere right now, but he will get one eventually." Feahterstar answered "we will hold the ceremony soon, but don't tell the kits who their mentor's are."
Featherstar started grooming herself, a sign that the conversation was over.'the real reason Hawkfeahter doesn't get an apprentice because he's always bad tempered. once he's happy occasionaly, i will consider him getting an apprentice.' Featherstar thought

Dapplefur:

Dapplefur woke up again and saw that Fawnkit had also gone outside. She stood up her four kits started squirming. "wake up everyone, the days about to begin. one by one they opened their eyes. yellowkit, blackKit, Patchkit, Spotkit.......'where's spotkit!' Dapplefur thought fretfully she searched the whole nursery, but Spotkit wasn't there. then she heard voices of the kits from outside and went to ask them where Spotkit was.

Spotkit: "i guess your right, better late than never!" She said happily. She heard Dapplefur coming out of the nursery and got nervous."uh oh" she said under her breath. Dapplefur came out, looking distressed, then surprised to see spotkit. then it turned to anger. "What were you doing out here spotkit! a hawk could have carried you off!"Yowled Dapplefur
"well, Applekit came out and....."Spotkit started but Dapplefur Interrupted "Applekit is 6 moons old and your only 1 moon old so don't you dare blame it on Applekit!"
"but i wasn't..." Spotkit tried to say, but Dapplefur said "I don't to here anymore of your excuses, come inside right now and your not coming out again until i say so!"
"yes Dapplefur" Spotkit said glumly. as she padded back to the nursery, she looked at Fawnkit and Applekit. "Guess there goes our game of rabbit" she said teasingly before heading into the nursery.

Soot:

Soot came back to his nest after catching a squirrel and a rabbit that strayed over to the other side of Flightclan territory. He settled down and started eating his prey.'I wonder if i will see Dapplefur today, maybe even my kits!' he thought happily, then got sad 'how will i even know if their my kits, i don't even know their names!" still lost in thought, he finished his meal and started grooming himself.

Featherstar:

Feahterstar finished grooming, but was not ready to come out yet to announce that the kits were going to become apprenticed. "Tornear, come down you scardy cat! no one's here except me!" she yowled to the skies. a faint voice answered her "are you sure we will be alone? you know i don't feel right down there. why can't you come up here?" Featherstar sighed "because, it would take longer. and yes we will be alone"
"alright, i'll come down, but i wont like it." the voice said after a long pause. a glow of light appeared then a cat stepped out of the light, and the light went away. he was missing an ear, his foot, and part of his tail.
"you know, i never understood why you didn't let those wounds go away, be much better for your appreance" Feahterstar said
"have you called me to lecture me on this?! because i can glady leave you. its not easy with starclan cats. they wont listen even though you put me in charge." Tornear hissed.
"thats not my reason for calling you, besides, they will listen after a while."
"a while, featherstar! your really saying that! you have been gone for more than 700 moons, and you still say that!" exclaimed tornear. "anyway, no point even trying with you. what do you want?"
"i want to know if i can actually approach soot today, hes living on the edge of my clan and he may stray over at some point." Featherstar said
"wow. i can not believe you actually asked me this. of course you can! hes dying to see...... uh, er i mean he is a threat to your clan that needs to be taken care of. well, now that thats taken care of, i need to go back to starclan." and he turned and went into the bright light that came again. when it dissapeared, he was gone. 'i wonder what he was in a rush about' thought featherstar

(It's fine, I'm still not too sure about the mountain area.)

BlackKit:

BlackKit was just starting to wake up when his mom left and came back shortly after with Spotkit trailing behind her. 'i wonder what she was up to out there. did Dapplefur know?' he asked himself, his tiredness forgoten. Patchkit perked up too, and he seemed to be listening to the voices outside. "hey ma, can we go out and play with the warriors for a bit?" Patchkit asked, giving Dapplefur his cute kitty eyes. BlackKit inwardly laughed 'that small badger just wants to sneak up and surprise them!' he thought, but was happy for an opportunity to go outside even if Dapplefur had to be there.
"all right all you can go." Dapplefur said. instantly Patchkit went outside. Yellowkit was hesitant until Patchkit called her name and she quickly went outside. Spotkit was about to go outside when Dapplefur stopped her. "oh no you don't. you can stay right hear and clean up this mess of a nursery. then you will continue to stay here until i say so." and turned around and went out to watch the others play. Spotkit sighed and started cleaning up. BlackKit went to the nursety entrance then looked back "Don't worry Spotkit, we can play in here later" he said, then went outside to join the others.

Patchkit:

Patchkit was waiting beside the freshkill pile for his littermates to catch up. yellowkit came first, then blackKit. "where's Spotkit?" Patchkit asked, "eh, doesn't matter, she'll just miss the greatest prank yet!" He said in delight. "what are we going to do?" Yellowkit murmered. "i am going to hide in the freshkill pile, and my sent should be disguised so Hawkfeather won't know im there." Patchkit said proudly. You two are going to pounce on him after i come out of the freshkill. we'll get a laugh out of it for moons!"
"okay, i'll go hide right now." Yellowkit said and went to a place where she could hide.
"i don't know about this Patchkit, i mean, Hawkfeather already gets enough tormenting from Zephyrlight..."BlackKit said
"it'l be fine BlackKit. besides, if doesn't want to get picked on he should be less of a scardy cat! plus, he's always the first one to the freshkill pile" Patchkit reasured BlackKit, "if he gets mad, i will take the blame."
"well, okay.... but im not gonna like it." BlackKit responded before hiding next to yellowkit.
Pathckit quickley hid in the freshkill pile, and made sure that he was able to see when Hawkfeather was getting his meal.

Featherstar:

Featherstar padded out of her den and went to the nursery. "well, im glad to see you two up" talking directly to the kits,"because we are going to hold your ceremony soon. better eat and groomed so you look your best." 'i do hope they like the mentors i got them' Featherstar thought.

Dapplefur:

"oh, how exciting for you two! come here so i can get you cleaned up for the ceremony!" Dapplefur exlaimed
she dragged Applekit towards her and started grooming her. "It looks like you've been playing around in brambles, even thought there are none!" she said between licks

Featherstar:

She purred slightly at the kits excitement and Dapplefur's fussing. she turned towards the freshkill pile and was surprised to see it move a little. "Someone's in the freshkill! i hope it isn't a naughty kit." Featherstar teased. "shhhh!" Patchkit said, "im gonna try to scare the fur out of hawkfeather."
"well, i won't stop you. torment at your own risk little kit." Feahterstar chided before picking up a mouse and carrying it to under the plateau. "hey hawkfeather, Zephyrlight, you should eat now while you have the chance. you too Dapplefur!" Featherstar shouted across the camp. 'now this prank i gotta see' Featherstar thought in apprehension.

Patchkit:

As Hawkfeather got the rabbit, he jumped out of the freshkill pile and jumped on Him. "Kits, attack!" he cried and his littermates jumped on hawkfeather as well. Best prank ever!

Feahterstar:

"better watch out Hawkfeather!" Featherstar laughed, "Pretty soon the freshkill itself will attack you!"

Soot:

Soot had been wondering if he should go onto flightclan's territory to get them to notice him. maybe even Dapplefur would come out with his kits with her. 'i think i will sit right on the edge where they can see me'
Soot thought as he settled down in the open plains. 'i do hope they come soon'

Featherstar:

Featherstar walked over to Hawkfeather and the kits. "hawkfeather, after the apprentice ceremony, how would you like to lead the patrol? it would help teach the kits our borders." asked featherstar. she then looked at the kits "go back to the nursery young ones so Dapplefur can get some peace and quiet"
"yes featherstar!" they responded and ran/play fighted back to the nursery.

Greyear:

Greyear woke up when he smelled rabbit. he stood up and stretched his stiff limbs. Zephyrlight came in holding a rabbit. "hello Zephyrlight, thats quite a fat rabbit you got there. is it for me?" Greyear joked.

Spotkit:

Spotkit had just finished cleaning up the nursery when her littermates came in, laughing their heads off.
"What happened out there?" she asked
"we scared the fur out of Hawkfeather!" laughed Patchkit, "He tries not to show it, but he's a real scaredy cat. you should've seen his face!"
'i wish i could have been there' Spotkit thought glumly,'if only Dapplefur could calm down and stop worrying over me.'

((i would really like to start the ceremony, but fawnleap isn't role playing when i can....if its okay with her, i can do the ceremony and pretend that Fawnkit is saying the right stuff, or i can just start the ceremony and wait for her to respond regually. what do you guys think?))

Patchkit:

"yeah!" Patchkit said, still laughing, "the only thing he will do is bravely run away from his enemies!"

Greyear:

"Thank you Zephyrlight, your so nice to your clanmates, most of the time." Greyear said, remembering that Zephyrlight always picked on Hawkfeather. "So, how your adopted sister, Applekit? Still have that strong spirit of hers?"
